Senior Calibration Engineer – Hybrid Powertrain Focus
The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Calibration Engineer to lead advanced calibration activities and guide customers through complex hybrid powertrain development. This is a strategic, technically demanding role that combines leadership, innovation, and deep technical expertise.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own calibration strategy and execution for hybrid powertrain systems to meet stringent performance, emissions, and drivability targets.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Analyse complex datasets to diagnose and resolve system-level issues.
- Act as the primary technical liaison with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Define validation plans and oversee execution, ensuring compliance with project milestones.
- Drive tool development and process optimisation for calibration workflows.
- Represent the company during international test trips and customer engagements.
- Expertise in one or more areas such as after-treatment, OBD, thermal management, or hybrid operating strategy is highly desirable.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in powertrain calibration, with significant exposure to hybrid systems.
- Advanced knowledge of PCM software and calibration tools (INCA, CANalyzer, CANoe, Creta, MATLAB).
- Strong understanding of functional safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508).
- Proven ability to lead projects and manage customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
