Do you want to lead a team that provides life-changing support to people in crisis? Join Waythrough as our Service Manager for the brand-new Hertfordshire Crisis House, opening in December 2025. The Hertfordshire Crisis House will offer a safe, non-clinical alternative to hospital admission for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. Open 24 hours a day, the service will provide up to seven days of intensive, recovery-focused support in close partnership with local crisis teams and community-based services — helping people stabilise, recover, and reconnect with their support networks. As a Service Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring we deliver outstanding, person-centred care every time. You’ll oversee contracts, line-manage staff, guide inductions and development plans, and work collaboratively with partners to maintain excellence in service delivery. This is a hands-on, people-focused role where you’ll inspire recovery, champion quality, and shape a brand-new service from the ground up.
