We are seeking a skilled Marketing Consultant to join our New Business Sales team, acting as a vital support resource for our eCommerce Consultants (Business Development Managers). This role will focus on providing expert digital marketing insights, leveraging tools like SimilarWeb and other sales and marketing platforms, to conduct comprehensive marketing opportunity analyses for prospective clients. The Marketing Consultant will not have a sales-focused role but will instead empower our eCommerce Consultants by developing tailored marketing solutions and presentation materials for client pitches. Additionally, this role will drive the upskilling and education of the eCommerce Consultants by staying ahead of digital marketing trends and sharing industry expertise. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies and, ideally, eCommerce experience to deliver actionable insights that align with client goals and industry trends.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct in-depth analyses of prospective clients’ marketing mix and analytics using tools such as SimilarWeb and other relevant platforms to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
2. Provide expert consultation to the eCommerce Consultants, translating complex marketing data into clear, actionable strategies for client pitches.
3. Develop tailored marketing opportunity analyses to support eCommerce Consultants in creating compelling client pitches.
4. Create high-quality presentation materials and strategic marketing recommendations to enhance pitch effectiveness.
5. Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies, sharing insights to keep the New Business Sales team informed and competitive.
6. Design and deliver training programs to upskill eCommerce Consultants on digital marketing strategies, tools, and best practices.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Digital Marketing, Strategy, and Client Success, to ensure marketing solutions align with client goals and agency standards.
8. Act as an internal thought leader on digital marketing, contributing to the agency’s knowledge base and strategic direction.
9. Support the development of innovative marketing approaches that enhance the agency’s offerings and client outcomes.

12. Experience in creating high-impact presentation materials and strategic recommendations for client-facing engagements.
13. Ideally, experience in eCommerce marketing, with an understanding of the eCommerce landscape, trends, and challenges.
14. A track record of designing and delivering training or upskilling programs to enhance team capabilities.
15. Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams to drive alignment and deliver results.
16. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex marketing concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
