Tradewind Recruitment is looking for dedicated Pastoral & Behaviour Support Staff to work across schools in Blackpool. In these roles, you aren't just helping with lessons; you are managing the emotional and social well-being of students. You will be the person who steps in when things get tough, helping students regulate their behaviour so they can get back to learning. Key Responsibilities On-Call Support: Responding to "behaviour calls" across the school, supporting teachers by removing barriers to learning. Inclusion & Reset: Working in "Inclusion Hubs" or "Reflective Spaces" to help students understand the impact of their actions. De-escalation: Using trauma-informed techniques to calm high-stress situations before they escalate. Mentoring: Holding 1:1 "check-ins" with students who are struggling with attendance, social anxiety, or external life challenges.
