Role: Planning & Logistics specialist (Aerospace) Location: Hemel Hempstead Salary: Neg on experience (up to 34K) The Planning & Logistics Specialist will be responsible for the administration of all transactional processes within Javelin (MRP) and supporting systems to maintain order book integrity and shop order planning spanning the order input to shipment invoice cycle. Key Responsibilities: * Provide a consistent, flexible and responsive service to our customers at all times. Working closely with the operations team the Planning & Logistics Specialist will lead logistical process improvement supporting the overall site growth and customer service objectives * Oversee and improve the order book management process ensuring all sales & production orders are loaded to Javelin (MRP) and corresponding acknowledgements to customers’ demand portals. * Plan and release shop order requirements in line with MRP and/or level scheduling requirements. * Compile Production documentation in preparation for launching to shop floor; including Job cards, customer drawings / specs and other documents as required. * Proactive tracking and updating production work orders according to the latest schedule changes. * Support the Customer Service Lead in raising dispatch documentation including Delivery notes, Invoices, Certificates of Conformity and customer shipping documentation.
