About the Role
Conrad Consulting is proud to be partnering with a leading global consultancy to recruit a Commercial Manager for their London-based team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile defence projects, supporting critical national infrastructure and delivering complex programmes of work.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage commercial aspects of defence-related projects from inception through to completion
* Provide cost management, contract administration, and procurement support
* Develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
* Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
* Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies
* Support tendering processes and contract negotiations
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements
* Proven experience in a Commercial Manager, Quantity Surveyor, or similar role
* Background in working on complex infrastructure or defence projects is highly desirable
* Strong knowledge of contract forms (e.g., NEC, JCT)
* Excellent commercial awareness and financial management skills
* Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple stakeholders
* Strong communication and negotiation abilities
Security Clearance Requirement
Due to the nature of the projects, candidates must be UK citizens holding a single nationality passport and be eligible to obtain the appropriate level of security clearance.
