IKEA Exeter are looking to welcome Kitchen Sales Specialist to join our hardworking Sales team.
Do you have a knack for making customers feel like they've just stepped into their dream home? If so, we want you on our team As a Kitchen Sales Specialist, you'll be the hero our customers didn't know they needed, guiding them through the maze of kitchen wonders and helping them to plan and design their dream kitchen.
WHAT WE OFFER
*
o Starting salary of £16,247 per annum (£13+ an hour) dependent on skills and experience (this is the pro-rated salary for 24 hours a week) (Full-Time Equivalent: 26,401 per annum).
* 24 hours weekly, working 5 days over 7, which will include alternate weekends.
* We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.
* The Start Date of employment will be Saturday and Sunday, 27 and 28 September.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
*
o You have experience working in a sales-oriented business, working closely with sales targets and customer conversion rates.
* You are skilled at forward planning, can handle several tasks at once with ease, and take pleasure in being a team member as well as fulfilling responsibilities on your own.
* You have an interest in people's life at home and look to provide customers with personalised solutions that meet their needs.
* You take initiative and you are open to change, with the ability to both find solutions to complex problems communicate with customers. You are actively engaged
* Confident in learning and working with a variety of computer programmes, including Microsoft Office suite and Kitchen Planning Tools.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
*
o Planning and designing kitchens for customers, in both initial and follow up appointments to provide accurate plans, along with installation and custom worktop quotations where appropriate.
* You actively engage with our customers identifying their needs, inspiring and advising them on the best solutions for their life at home.
* You are always enthusiastic about the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design.
* You support maximising sales by ensuring the Kitchen Sales areas is clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop. Some products may involve heavy lifting.
* You will communicate with customers in a variety of ways, including email, text and calls starting from pre appointment calls, and continuing through planning and purchase of their kitchen.
