About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and experienced Nursery Manager to lead a vibrant and supportive early years setting in Macclesfield. The successful candidate will be a natural leader with excellent organisational skills, a deep understanding of early years education, and a genuine commitment to high standards of care, safeguarding, and education.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education
* Lead and inspire a team of practitioners, supporting their development and performance
* Ensure full compliance with all safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory requirements
* Build strong relationships with children, parents, staff, and external agencies
* Monitor and support the implementation of the EYFS across the setting
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with policies and procedures
* Support the nurserys continuous improvement and development
* Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to and consistently implemented
* Actively contribute to staff recruitment, training, and retention

Requirements
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (UK recognised)
* Minimum of two years' senior leadership experience within an early years setting
* Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding practices
* Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
* GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths, or willingness to achieve this within two years
* A clear, enhanced DBS check and commitment to ongoing safeguarding training
