Job Title: Secondary English Teacher

Contract Type: Full-Time, 5 Days a Week
Salary: £90 - £190 per day (depending on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive secondary school team in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will inspire and engage secondary school students across Key Stage 3 and 4 (KS3 & KS4), delivering creative and high-quality lessons that foster a love for literature and language.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective English lessons to secondary school students.
* Inspire students to achieve their potential in both written and spoken English.
* Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable goals.
* Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and learning.
* Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices in teaching.
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* A degree in English or a related subject.
* Passionate about teaching and helping students succeed.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
* Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and 4 is preferred but not essential.
* A proactive, team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills.
* Available to start immediately.
