Interim Professional Services Category Manager - Location: Cambridge (Hybrid)
Contract: Initial 3-4 Months

We are supporting a global organisation in the search for an Interim Professional Services Category Manager to provide additional support during a period of transformation and growth.
The role will focus primarily on Consultancy, Legal, Finance, Tax and Advisory spend, whilst also supporting wider Corporate Services and People-related categories.
Key responsibilities
* Manage strategic sourcing and supplier management activity across professional services categories
* Continue the development of category strategies and governance programmes
* Drive commercial value and process improvements across a global spend portfolio
* Partner with senior stakeholders across multiple business functions
* Support and develop more junior members of the procurement team
Requirements
* Experience managing consultancy, legal and advisory spend is highly desirable
* Ability to influence stakeholders within a complex, global environment
* Strategic mindset with a track record of delivering tangible value
* Available to start at short notice
