An exciting opportunity has arisen within the North Locality Strathmore (Blairgowrie) Social Work Team for a full-time, permanent Senior Practitioner.
Applications are being invited from experienced, confident, motivated and creative Social Workers who are looking to develop their practice knowledge, skills and experience in a leadership role.
This post will include managing and supervising staff, chairing meetings, holding a small caseload of complex cases and other tasks delegated by the Team Leader.
The North Locality team is a busy rural social work team working with adults and unpaid carers to achieve identified outcomes. The team serves a large geographical area and provides a wide variety of care and support interventions and services.
Highland Perthshire is a beautiful and picturesque area to work, and while it brings challenges in relation to the rural nature of the area, it also provides opportunities to identify and develop local networks of support.
