Manufacturing Services Technician (Electrician) - Precision Casting Facility (PCF) – Derby.

What You Will Be Doing
In this role you will provide electrical support to the Manufacturing Services Leader and Manufacturing Services Engineer. You will perform electrical installations, repairs and maintenance on production manufacturing assets and associated production equipment at the Precision Casting Facility (PCF).
The PCF is Rolls-Royce’s largest domestic facility and home of the single crystal turbine blade. You will work to ensure outputs are safe, available and capable for use when required.
Key responsibilities include:
* Utilise hand tools and test equipment to deliver customer requirements.
* Use drawings and data to implement effective electrical system approaches.
* Coordinate workload and electrical activities with customers; communicate with Production Leaders, Team Leaders, Design Engineers, Maintenance Team members and Production Operators.
* Collaborate with site Manufacturing Engineers to restore equipment performance to standard.
* Support asset maintenance activities to keep equipment and facilities safe and reliable to a high-performance standard; work with equipment OEMs and Design engineers where needed.
What We’re Looking For
* NVQ level 3 or equivalent in relevant Electrotechnical time served apprenticeship.
* Current BS7671 Certificate (18th Edition).
* Good understanding of Electrical Installations and maintenance operations; plant maintenance experience is required.
* Basic IT literacy and ability to read engineering drawings.
* Understanding of local and regional HSE standards and regulations.
