Location
Hillingdon Granges – predominantly based at Yiewsley Grange, with support for other sites within the Hillingdon Granges.
Salary
Up to £53,200 DOE plus £5,000 Welcome Bonus (£2,500 after one month and £2,500 after final probation period). T&C apply.
Hours & Contract
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am‑16.30pm. Permanent contract (52 weeks, flexible around term‑time contract).
Role Overview
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our in‑house clinical team. Working collaboratively with the education team, you will deliver bespoke Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent or have SEMH needs. You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working. You will be responsible for holding an occupational therapy caseload, supported by a designated clinical supervisor and Lead Clinician. The role requires a resilient, creative and enthusiastic individual.
Responsibilities
* Deliver occupational therapy assessment and intervention for pupils with developmental trauma, neurodivergence or SEMH needs.
* Provide person‑centred, empowering support while maintaining safeguarding culture.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary and multi‑professional teams on pupil decisions.
* Prepare clear and concise reports.
* Contribute to staff training and consultation as required.
Essential Criteria
* Recognised Occupational Therapy degree.
* Valid and up to date HCPC Registration.
* Registered member of RCOT.
* Relevant experience providing occupational therapy services within a similar setting.
* Experience working with neurodivergent and/or learning difficulty and/or socio‑emotional and mental health difficulties, with evidence of transferable skills.
* Sound knowledge and clinical understanding of OT theory and its practical application to support independence.
* Experience of multi‑professional work with teams or services within the designated speciality.
* Ability to work independently, flexibly and confidently in a school environment.
* Clear and concise report writing skills.
* Interest in sensory integration or sensory‑informed practice (SI practitioner training in progress or completed is preferable, but not essential).
