As we scale rapidly, our Finance Team plays a critical role in driving the business forward. We’re now looking for a motivated Assistant Management Accountant to join our growing team.

About the Role
As our Assistant Management Accountant, you’ll play a key part in delivering accurate, timely financial reporting and supporting the development of a more forward-looking finance function. You will support both transactional tasks and management accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Month-End & Reporting
* Assist with preparation of management accounts for multiple group entities
* Deliver month-end tasks and associated reporting
* Produce sales journals
* Complete bank and payment reconciliations
* Prepare payment runs and process purchase invoices
* Reconcile supplier statements
* Manage the shared finance inbox
* Support development of cost centre and headcount reporting
* Provide insightful financial analysis to the Management Accountant
Challenge & Control
* Support monitoring of business performance vs. budget & forecast
* Help embed strong financial controls across finance and operations
* Contribute to improved financial reporting and analysis
* Appropriately challenge expenditure and support better financial controls
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills
* Experience supporting the production of month-end accounts
* Strong Excel skills
* Experience with Xero or similar accounting software
* Ability to analyse financial/operational data and present it clearly
* Experience with budgeting models (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) a bonus
Personal Attributes
* Inquisitive, analytical and eager to learn
* Excellent communicator, able to explain finance to non-finance colleagues
* Proactive, responsible and detail-oriented
* Able to work independently and use good judgment
* Studying towards (or looking to start) AAT, ACCA, or CIMA - with full study support provided
