Yolk Recruitment are exclusively recruiting on behalf of a large, well-established company employing over 500 people for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant. Key Responsibilities:
1. Accurately process high volumes of supplier invoices and credit notes
2. Maintain and reconcile the purchase ledger
3. Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries and discrepancies
4. Assist with weekly and monthly payment runs
5. Support the finance team with month-end duties and general accounts payable tasks
Requirements:
6. Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
7. Confident using Microsoft Excel (including formulas and basic reporting)
8. High level of accuracy and attention to detail
9. Strong communication and organisational skills
10. A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
