About You:

We are looking for a calm, credible, and values-driven leader with strong experience in pastoral leadership, inclusion, or alternative provision, and a clear understanding of trauma-informed practice and reintegration. With a strong moral purpose, you will be committed to inclusion, equity, and high expectations, using strategic thinking and data to drive improvement, while building positive relationships and leading teams effectively to create a calm environment where students can re-engage and succeed.
Our Ideal candidate will have:
1. Extensive Pastoral and Inclusion Experience: Significant experience in pastoral leadership or inclusion.
2. Experience Supporting Students with Additional Needs: Proven experience working with students with behavioural, emotional, or attendance needs.
3. Strong Understanding of Behaviour and Attendance Challenges: Understanding of behaviour and attendance challenges affecting young people.
4. Relationship-Building Skills: Ability to build strong working relationships with students, staff and families.
5. Resilience and Composure Under Pressure: Ability to remain calm and constructive under pressure.

The Inclusion Team at Weavers Academy is a dedicated and student-focused group committed to ensuring that every young person is supported to thrive both academically and personally. Working collaboratively with staff, families and external agencies, the team provides tailored support for students with a range of needs, including behavioural, emotional and attendance challenges. With a strong emphasis on early intervention, relationship-building and removing barriers to learning, the Inclusion Team plays a vital role in promoting a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where all students feel valued, understood and empowered to succeed.
