Job description Sales To proactively roll out an End to End approach to our customers´ needs and identify value added solutions as a result of it. Preparation of offers and estimates for current and potential customers in coordination with the Sales Representative and the commercial function (pricer), unless these customers are fully managed by him/her (in this case, they are responsible of first pricing in coordination with commercial function). Submit offers proposals to decision makers in his/her plant for approval (margin management), before sending these offers back to customers and Sales Representative. Track and evaluate submitted quotations´ effectiveness and to submit proposal for potential adjustments. Orders intake management while securing the respect of Company conditions such as prices, order quantities, deadline for deliveries, etc. To follow and track the respect of agreed delivery deadlines, taking the needed prioritisation decisions for solving the late and under issues. To define orders forecast for the assigned customers. Be responsible for the correct tracking and success implementation of stocks agreements and VMI procedures. Manage returns of merchandise and the corresponding credit notes. Manage accounts assigned to him/her by the Plant / Regional Sales and Commercial Manager with the aim of maximising their sales volume and profitability. Communicate and deal correctly with customer requests Attend meetings, together with Sales Representative he /she works with, and the Plant / Regional Sales and Commercial Manager (Tier 1 meeting). To promote use of web-based ordering by customers Track the development of his/her customer projects with the technical office. To secure actions needed to be launched for recovering late payments from customers. Be responsible of maintaining in the company Management System (GPT, SSS, SAP, etc.) the most up to date information concerning our customers. To attend ad hoc meetings with customers in coordination with Customer Service Manager or Regional Sales Director. To prospect by phone accounts assigned to him/her included in defined working platform. To proactively launch the purchase of merchandise. To promote the enhancement of Margins of assigned customers. Saica Sales System (SSS) To implement in his/her daily business activity the SPK sales approach described in the SSS handbook. Comply with communication and reporting procedures defined within the Commercial & Marketing organization for securing a perfect alignment with all SPK stakeholders. Use the business information systems of the company, to ensure maximum reliability of reporting for sound decision making. To update and maintain alive the Account Plan of selected customers at regional sales request. Be responsible of full management of External and Internal claims related to invoicing, pricing, overs & unders and admin errors. End to End To report to Customer Service Manager and during Tier 1 meetings all potential sources of business improvement identified as a result of the fulfilment of his/her duty. Sales Team Capabilities To actively participate in his/her own training program definition and implementation, supporting new training initiatives and reporting any detected skills that would need to be reinforced for his/her own benefit. Marketing To prepare and organise events for ensuring customer retention and to coordinate customer visits to his/her plant following indications from Customer Service Manager and in coordination with the assigned Sales Representative.
