Do you have a background in Maintenance Engineering within a Manufacturing environment? Do you want to work for a UK manufacturer that's modernising its engineering approach, offering the opportunity to work on and lead a variety of projects, enhance your earnings with performance bonuses and a half day on a Friday?
This key position has been created to support continued business growth, ensure vital knowledge transfer, and lead the development of engineering solutions-particularly in the automation and standardisation of label application machinery. The company actively work with the pharmaceutical, food and beverage industries as well as other main retail products.
In this hands-on position, the engineer will contribute across electrical automation and build-transforming bespoke machinery into scalable solutions, improving internal documentation, and supporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). They will also work closely with commercial and production teams to ensure technical execution aligns with wider business goals. This role is (8am- 5pm) Mon- Thur (8am-12pm) Fri.

The Role
* Drive the automation and standardisation of label application machinery
* Carry out hands-on mechanical and electrical work, including gearboxes and wiring
* Contribute to design and delivery across mechanical, electrical, and CAD systems
* Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with wider teams to align technical output with business goals
