As a Shift Manager for Syensqo you will ensure that you will all processes and procedures are undertaken in a safe and healthy manner while investing in the development, training and staffing requirements with regards to dangerous good handling are met, will play a major role in ensuring specific accreditations bespoke to managing an aerospace contract are maintained. This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00. Flexibility on start and finishing times are required to support the need of the business when needed. You'll also have access to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more What you'll do on a typical day: Monitoring and managing compliance, investigating, and addressing any non-performance and ensure corrective measures are introduced Manage the operation against agreed budget, ensuring adequate controls regarding spend on consumables, damages, stock loss etc Seek to continuously improve current procedures and processes to streamline and improve efficiencies across the operation and improve productivity Manage all aspects of the Syensqo operation ensuring delivery of operational excellence and exceeding customer expectations What you need to succeed at GXO: IOSH or equivalent Health and Safety qualification would be desirable Ability to effectively plan and execute workload and operate in a dynamic business environment Previous experience in dangerous goods handling Previous Import/export regulations knowledge is essential We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
