Swim Development Manager

We are working with a leading not-for-profit leisure operator to recruit a commercially driven Swim Development Manager to take ownership of a flagship site’s swimming program in Cardiff.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead one of the largest swim programs in Wales, with circa 1,900 members and a team of 50 staff, within an organisation that genuinely reinvests into its facilities, people, and community.

About You
* Proven experience within swimming or leisure operations
* A strong commercial mindset with the ability to grow membership and revenue
* Experience managing teams within a fast-paced environment
* Passionate about delivering high-quality customer experiences
* Welsh speaking (desirable)
* Experience working with or alongside Swim Wales (desirable)
* Swimming qualifications desirable but not required
The Role
* Lead and develop a high-performing swim program at one of the largest leisure sites in Wales
* Manage, motivate, and develop a team of circa 50 staff
* Drive membership growth and maximise programme performance
* Work collaboratively with internal departments, including marketing, to increase engagement and participation
* Ensure the delivery of a safe, high-quality, and commercially successful operation
