We're looking to recruit an experienced Ie Recovery Officer in Liverpool on behalf of a well-established housing association. This is a full-time, 37 hour per week role, working on a hybrid basis (2 x office days per week), on a rolling temporary contract.
Your new role
1. Manage your own caseload of customer rent accounts to maximise ie and minimise arrears for the group
2. Take early intervention and enforcement action where appropriate to recover outstanding rent
3. Prepared and serve notices and court papers in partnership with Enforcement, Tenancy Sustainment and Neighbourhood Officers
4. Work closely with external agencies such as Local Authorities and Benefit teams
What you'll need to succeed
5. A strong background in an Ie Recovery role within Social Housing, ideally having used the QL system before
6. Strong knowledge of welfare benefits and social-housing related legislation
7. Experience ofpleting ie, expenditure and vulnerability assessments
8. Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive conversations with empathy and clarity
