Join us in this great and rewarding job, as our Positive Behavioural Support team Leader. Youll manage our team to provide person-centred and strengths-based support to our customer and help them reach their full potential. You will support adults with complex needs. You will guide the team, use positive behavioural support, and help people live well. You need experience in care, good communication skills, and a calm, caring approach.
What youll do
Youll manage a team of PBS Support Workers centred around a customer with complex presentation.
You and your team will support customers with any aspect of their day-to-day living. Youll work in a person-centred, strengths-based and psychologically informed way, so they can enjoy the best possible quality of life
Youll be in regular contact with your manager updating, escalating and reporting on all aspects of the service delivery.
Youll be responsible for planning and overseeing complex support working with customers who display behaviours of concern and may require personal care working alongside Home Groups local multi-disciplinary team
Motivating, directing, guiding, coaching and supporting your team to work with our customers.

You have
Experience in CQC Regulated services, a Level 4 Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care or equivalent or prepared to work towards it.
Worked as a Senior Support Worker, leading support for people with complex needs, or behaviours of distress.
A patient and calm approach, able to adapt your style to the customer's needs, as well as to the specific occasion and circumstances, even when they challenge us.
Great people management and motivation skills, bringing colleagues together to share information, best practice and fostering creativity.
Experience of positive risk management, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of customers and colleagues.

Able to use technology to update create and update support plans, communicate with colleagues and complete online learning.
Well make sure you have a fantastic induction with ongoing learning and support.
Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
