Creative Artistic Youth Worker
Start Date: Term 5/6 OR September 2025
Location: Swindon
Protocol Education is working with secondary schools throughout Bristol, seeking candidates with a strong creative/arts background.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting students with special educational needs (SEND), both 1:1 and in small groups.
* Assisting teachers with classroom learning and behavior support.
* Bringing calm, confidence, and compassion to classrooms.
* Using your creative arts, sensory, therapy, or drama background to support SEND pupils' emotional and educational needs, engaging them in meaningful learning experiences.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Arts, sensory, therapy, or drama background/degree and SEND experience.
Candidate Qualities:
* Believes in the potential of every student to make outstanding progress.
* Creative, inspiring, and determined leader.
* Utilizes engaging teaching methods and CPD sessions.
* Caring, passionate about relationships and well-being with staff, students, parents, and the community.

Pay rates include statutory holiday pay of 12.07%. This is a temporary role, with potential for permanency.
