Role Overview

Position
An opportunity has arisen for Band 3 Health Care Support Workers within our Orthopaedic Elective/Trauma wards in RAH, Clyde. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated HCSW with effective communication skills to join our friendly team. Key Responsibilities
* Assist in delivering a high standard of nursing care to a cohort group of Orthopaedic patients for pre‑ and post‑operative scheduled surgery.
* Apply problem‑solving skills, good listening skills, and a compassionate nature.
* Support a multi‑disciplinary approach including nursing staff, consultants, and extended scope practitioners.
* Assist with venepuncture, cannulation, and NEWS monitoring (training provided).
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in Orthopaedic care or any care setting is advantageous.
* Experience in venepuncture, cannulation, NEWS monitoring is preferred.
* Good communication, listening, and problem‑solving skills.
