Position: Accounts Receivable Assistant (Cash and Banking)
Salary: £24,450 - £27,072 per annum (pro rated for part time)
Contract: Permanent
Location: Sheffield
Hours: 25 hours per week x 52 weeks per year over 4 – 5 Days

About the role
As Accounts Receivable Assistant you will work on all aspects of accounts receivable and cash & banking for the organisation and associated subsidiaries, ensuring all monies are recorded accurately. You’ll also have the chance to get involved in development work with managers to help us continue to improve our systems and processes, providing an efficient accounts receivable function.
Key Responsibilities
* Administration, maintenance and development of the cashbook
* Processing of online payments
* Administration and recording of all till & other card/cash transactions
* Assisting with month-end duties

Skills & Knowledge

* Hold administration experience within a medium to large size organisation
* Have experience of finance systems, including posting entries & extracting information

* Competent in use of Excel & Microsoft applications to both prepare and manipulate financial data is essential
