An opportunity has become available for an Assistant Team Leader to join the Hospital Sterilisation and Disinfection Unit (HSDU).
Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Flexibility is key to ensure the department operating hours are covered appropriately and the ability to take part in the out‑of‑hours on‑call rota is essential.
This post is a 37.5 hour per week flexible working contract and involves shift working over seven days, including weekends. You will work alongside and lead a team of HSDU technimens to ensure duties are carried out in accordance with departmental policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with statutory legislation. You will coordinate the workload while prioritising and delegating to team members, ensuring decontaminated surgical equipment is available to our customers.
