Reeson Education are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to take on a full-time, temp-to-perm role in a supportive setting based in the Salford area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who has a passion for helping pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
1. Provide one-to-one SEMH support for pupils aged 11-16 with varying levels of need and behavioural difficulties
2. Deliver group support sessions to other pupils with SEMH needs, encouraging engagement and positive participation.
3. Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral leads, and external professionals to ensure every pupil has access to the right support.
4. Undertake outreach work across nearby school sites in the Salford area - therefore a driving licence is essential.
About You:
We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Teaching Assistant who can build strong relationships and offer both emotional and practical support. To be considered for this Teaching Assistant role, you must:
5. Have prior experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs.
6. Be confident providing both one-to-one support and small group interventions.
7. Hold a valid UK driving licence (essential for outreach responsibilities).
8. Be available to work full-time, Monday to Friday.
