Telehandler Driver - Godalming (12 Month Contract) Rate: £19 - £20 per hour | Location: Godalming, Surrey Start: 16th February | Duration: 12 Months We are currently recruiting a Telehandler Driver to work for a dynamic and forward-thinking construction company in Godalming. This is a long-term opportunity (12 months) working on a significant development with a contractor known for delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across the South East. About Us Atkinson Baker Associates are a specialist construction recruitment partner, supporting contractors nationwide with high-quality site operatives and long-term workforce solutions. The Role You will be the primary plant operator on site, managing the distribution of materials to trades. However, due to the nature of the project, the machine will not always be running 8 hours a day. We require a driver who is proactive and willing to jump out of the cab to assist with general labouring duties during quiet periods. Key Responsibilities Operating the Telehandler safely to load, unload, and distribute materials. Assisting with site logistics and general labouring when not operating the machine. Ensuring the site remains clean, tidy, and safe. Carrying out daily machine checks and reporting any defects. Working closely with the Site Manager to keep the project on schedule. Requirements Essential: Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler card. Essential: Willingness to carry out labouring duties when required (this is a condition of the role). Essential: Own transport (to ensure reliability). Proven experience operating a Telehandler on residential or commercial sites. Reliable, safety-conscious, and a team player.
