About the Role
The Learning & Development Coordinator will play a key role in shaping and delivering the organisation's people development agenda. Working closely with leaders and colleagues across the business, the postholder will help design, coordinate and deliver a wide range of learning, development and wellbeing initiatives that align with organisational values and strategic priorities.
A major part of the role includes supporting the rollout and ongoing management of the new Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring digital learning content is engaging, accessible and aligned to local operational needs. The postholder will also contribute to compliance activity, ensuring mandatory training and audit requirements are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
Learning & Development Coordination
1. Research and coordinate innovative L&D solutions that support organisational needs
2. Manage the full administrative lifecycle of training, including scheduling, bookings, attendance and followup
3. Communicate training logistics clearly to trainers, learners and external partners
4. Oversee compliance training to ensure mandatory learning is completed on time
Internal Delivery & Content Creation
5. Deliver internal training sessions in person and via MS Teams
6. Prepare, update and qualityassure learning materials for internal and external delivery
Staff Wellbeing Programme
7. Plan and deliver the annual wellbeing programme
8. Manage the annual Staff Wellbeing Survey and use insights to shape future activity
Systems, Data & Reporting
9. Maintain accurate learning records within HR systems and the LMS in line with GDPR
10. Produce management information, including evaluation data, attendance reports and spend analysis
Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
11. Develop and analyse evaluation tools to measure learning effectiveness
12. Work with managers and trainers to enhance the quality and impact of content and delivery
Financial Coordination
13. Support financial processes including raising purchase orders, tracking spend and processing invoices
14. Negotiate discounts with training providers
Early Careers Support
15. Assist with the administration of apprenticeship and graduate programmes
16. Manage training agreements, qualification bookings and associated invoicing
17. Support apprentices through regular checkins
HR Team Collaboration
18. Provide flexible administrative and project support across the HR team
19. Work closely with the HR Administrative Assistant to ensure a seamless, highquality HR service

Skills
20. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
21. Ability to evaluate learning and wellbeing activities
22. Confident using MS Teams and Zoom
23. Experience with HR or training databases (desirable)
Knowledge & Experience
24. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
25. Experience in a fastpaced HR or coordination environment
26. Comfortable delivering events and working under pressure
27. Experience with LMS platforms and early careers programmes (desirable)
28. Understanding of EDI and Disability Confident principles (desirable)
