Job Title | Mechanical Design Engineer (1 Year) Location | Head Office, Banbridge Hours | Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-3pm Salary | Competitive Depending on Experience Responsible to | Design Engineer What You'll be Doing Experienced in the design and development of underfloor heating and heat pump systems, including pipe layout planning (zoning, spacing and circuit lengths), heat loss calculations, and full system design using CAD and simulation software. Skilled in selecting appropriate products and technologies to meet project requirements, producing detailed technical drawings, schematics, installation guides, bills of materials and performance reports. Proficient in liaising with clients, consultants and contractors to support specifications, providing technical assistance during installation and commissioning, ensuring compliance with UK building regulations and industry standards, maintaining accurate project documentation, and contributing to the development of standardised design tools while keeping up to date with emerging renewable heating technologies.
