Controls Director
Salary - £200,000
UK based - with travel to 3 different locations
We are seeking a pragmatic leader who combines control expertise with strong regulatory knowledge and who can drive transformation.
This newly created Control Executive role offers genuine autonomy as you steer operational risk strategy during a pivotal period for both the company and the industry.
Your mission? Build robust control frameworks and culture while enabling commercial growth. Enjoy autonomy rarely found at this level, including scope to reshape your function as needed.
Must-have skills:
* Proven risk/control ownership within regulated financial services
* Be a strategic lead and deliver the controls strategy
* Deep understanding of consumer credit regulation
* Track record leading teams through complex change/transformation
* Strong background in regulatory compliance
* Ability to engage regulators and senior executives
* Drive growth through market changes and lead transformation
* Ideally, someone with both industry and consulting backgrounds
* Retail Banking, Consumer Credit & Motor Finance knowledge is key
