The Role
This is a Full-time position within our busy takeaway kitchen.
Weekend availability essential
No split shifts
No evening work
You'll thrive in a high-energy environment, maintaining consistency and quality during busy service periods while supporting and motivating your team.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking an organised, enthusiastic, and passionate chef who:
Thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Demonstrates excellent organisation and time management
Is punctual, reliable, and flexible
Brings a positive, can-do attitude
Works well as part of a supportive team
Has experience in a busy kitchen or takeaway (preferred but not essential)
Is comfortable working weekends and peak seasonal periods
A genuine passion for food and hospitality is essential — as is pride in delivering quality every single time.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook fresh, made-to-order food to our high standards
Adhere strictly to allergen procedures and prevent cross-contamination
Maintain smooth kitchen operations during busy service
Handle any customer complaints in a calm and professional manner
Fulfil Opening & Closing Responsibilities - Assist with opening/closing the kitchen, including cleaning and equipment shutdown
Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, safety, and compliance
Monitor stock levels, rotate products (fridge and freezer), and minimise waste
Maintain accurate inventory records
Work collaboratively with our friendly and hardworking team
Work seamlessly with other departments to ensure smooth overall operations
Contribute energy, creativity, and positivity to the workplace
