Job Description
Due to ongoing business growth, the company is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join the team in the Birmingham area.
In this role, you will be part of an experienced team, with responsibility for document control processes across assigned project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up new enquiries in the internal management system.
* Ensure smooth and adequate flow of information to support business operations.
* Use document management platforms such as 4Projects and Procore.
* Adhere to standard operating procedures for all document control.
* Print and label documentation for site use.
* Carry out filing, photocopying, and printing tasks as necessary.
* Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems; suggest process improvements.
* Manage meeting schedules, including setup of catering and technology needs.
* Monitor and manage office supplies with attention to budget constraints.
* Organize and supervise additional site office activities (e.g., recycling, events).
* Interact with suppliers and clients in a professional manner.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
* Coordinate the delivery and setup of IT equipment locally and remotely.
* Comply with all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organisational abilities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Capable of prioritising and managing a busy workload.
* Confident and professional telephone manner.
