Commercial Finance Manager
e.surv Chartered Surveyors is currently recruiting for a Commercial Finance Manager to partner with our Business Development Director and Consumer Director. You will leverage your expertise in market analysis and trends related to revenue, customers, clients, and overall profitability of our Consumer business.

This role is based from home, with regular travel to the Head Office in Kettering on an ad hoc basis.
Accountabilities include
1. Reporting
* Design and deliver daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue performance reports, including KPIs and insights, leading discussions on implications and next steps.
* Manage the Commercial Finance analysts to produce relevant revenue reports and KPIs.
* Support all revenue and commercial finance reporting needs such as QBRs, Monthly FD calls, and business performance reviews with the CEO/CFO.
1. Business Partnering
* Act as the finance business partner to the Sales (Business Development Director - B2B/Lender and B2C/Consumer Director) and Head of Marketing, supporting issue and trend identification and driving business performance improvements.
* Ensure commercial tenders are supported with dynamic pricing, revenue, cost, and margin modeling, providing commercial support for pricing and product positioning.
1. Strategic Optimisation for Lender & Consumer segments
* Maintain external market perspectives by modeling market, customer, and competitor trends and their impact on revenue projections.
* Deliver scenario planning for potential business strategies and market assumptions to support strategic planning.
* Provide revenue and profit modeling for various business strategies, including organic growth and acquisitions.
* Prepare revenue stream models and scenarios for investment appraisals and business cases.
* Support the identification and delivery of new business initiatives, ensuring alignment with business cases and financial expectations.
1. Planning Cycle for Lender & Consumer segments
* Develop a robust, defensible revenue plan aligned with business strategy, with clear narrative and presentation.
* Create and manage the one-year revenue budget and forecasts, consolidating opportunities considering market conditions and new initiatives.
* Present plans and forecasts visually with clear narratives and transitions.
* Ensure all planning metrics and assumptions are clearly articulated, including customer, market, competitor, pipeline, and pricing data.
Essential
* Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with FP&A and/or Commercial Finance experience.
* Strong commercial acumen with strategic insight and ability to influence business performance.
* Significant experience in creating and presenting robust financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
* Ability to visually portray business performance and strategies compellingly with a narrative.
* Experience in financial modeling and scenario planning.
