We are seeking a passionate and skilled SEN Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. You will teach across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students. Working closely with our SENCO, therapists, and LSAs, you will ensure all learners are supported academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver creative, accessible lessons for students with a variety of SEN, including complex and behavioural needs.
Teach across KS3 and KS4, adapting curriculum materials to suit individual learning styles and abilities.
Implement and monitor individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies.
Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
Work collaboratively with support staff, parents/carers, and outside agencies.
Track and report on student progress in line with school policy.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
Experience teaching students with SEN in a school or specialist setting.
Strong understanding of SEN strategies, differentiation, and behaviour management.
Resilience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for inclusive education.
Ability to teach across a range of subjects at KS3 and KS4 level.
