About The Role
We are excited to recruit an MOT Motor Vehicle Technician for our fast‑growing motor group. You will be responsible for MOT testing, service, repair and maintenance work for our customers' vehicles, readying them for the road ahead. You will work on a diverse range of vehicles and models, taking pride in delivering high‑standard service and building customer relationships. Candidates will be trained within the manufacturer franchise, with progression to Senior and Master Technician status available. Using industry‑leading facilities and training, you will also develop EV‑technology expertise, contributing to Stoneacre’s goal of becoming the Number One Motor Group.

An average day as an MOT Motor Vehicle Technician
* Report to the Service Manager and meet franchise, company and manufacturer standards.
* Undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on all vehicle types.
* Meet scheduled times and high standards for all work.
* Repair, test and diagnose vehicle faults.
* Replace components, parts, lubricants and consumables, and record work.
* Maintain a clean, tidy and hazard‑free work area in line with health and safety regulations.
* Advise and report on vehicle faults and future service requirements via the Vehicle Health Check and Video process.
About You
* Experience in an automotive technical role.
* Level 2 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent and a valid MOT Testers Licence.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
* Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Enthusiasm for the role and desire to grow with Stoneacre.
