Overview
Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO) role within a Professional Services Organisation. This is a new executive position to oversee the development, strategy, and implementation of AI technologies in response to growing AI importance in internal change management and client engagement.
Location and compensation: remote working UK / EMEA; base salary range £325k to £350k with upside and benefits.

Responsibilities
* Provide Strategic Leadership and Technology Oversight for AI initiatives across the organization.
* Lead Team Management, Advocacy and Education on AI topics, and ensure Ethics, Governance, and Compliance.
* Manage Budgeting for Capacity and Capability related to AI initiatives.
* Drive Localized Exploitation, Internal Integration, Business Process Redesign (BPR), and Business Network Redesign.
* Shape the AI vision and ensure delivery through cross-functional collaboration with internal and client stakeholders.
* Assess AI learning needs, build-buy options, investment considerations, and address the complexity of AI integration.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience with AI across Supply Chain, Product Lifecycle, Data Analytics, and Customer Experience (AI-driven).
* Knowledge of Gen AI, LLMs, and AI frameworks.
* Proven ability in cross-functional collaboration and change management (internal and client-side).
* Track record in applying AI within manufacturing, management consulting, B2C, police or agency contexts, or related sectors.
* Desirable: languages, first degree, consulting background, matrix operations, and strong IT literacy.

Experience gained from sectors such as Manufacturing, Management Consulting, Police or Agency disciplines may be valuable for this role.
