Job Description
The role is a 13‑month placement in the International Internal Audit team based in London. Internally, Auditors assess operational and finance functions, evaluate controls, interview stakeholders and produce written reports of findings and improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Learn about the insurance industry and how insurance works
* Gain exposure to various auditing techniques and test strategies
* Gain exposure to different departments within an insurance organization
* Work with colleagues from different geographical locations, time zones and cultures
* Practice presentation skills and gain exposure to formal report writing
* Develop organisational and self‑management skills
* Develop problem‑solving, communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
* Communicate with individuals across different areas of the business by email and in-person meetings
* Develop IT skills across insurance software and Microsoft Office
Qualifications
* Currently in the second or third year of an Accounting or Finance degree
* Enthusiastic self‑starter, quickly learning and embracing challenges
* Adaptable, highly organised with strong verbal and written communication skills
Work Hours & Location
35 hours a week; 2 days remote and 3 days in-office at 40 Lime Street, London, EC3M 7AW.
