The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Billing & Credit Control, our Billing Administrators support the Finance department by handling queries and providing advice. This role involves invoicing, including amendments and using e-invoicing systems, and posting these invoices.
This is a vital role in our finance team, ensuring excellence in the Order to Cash process and fostering strong partnerships with our Commercial Teams.
Main duties will include:
* Create invoices and credits from billing platforms.
* Ensure invoices/credits contain accurate billing details, product information, and purchase order numbers where required, with products posted to the correct nominal before ledger posting.
* Submit invoices to clients via email or customer portal.
* Request purchase orders from external sources.
* Collaborate with internal departments on customer billing queries.
* Update billing platforms with new billing details.
* Suggest improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and reduce costs.
