This position is based in Waltham, MA, Brooklyn, NY, or Syracuse, NY, and is hybrid.
Job Purpose
As a Principal Domain Architect for AI Ops and Site Reliability Engineering, you will design and oversee complex systems, develop policies, standards, and monitor emerging technologies. You will lead strategic vision, stakeholder alignment, and promote cohesive approaches within the domain.
Responsibilities
1. Develop AI Ops and SRE strategies, understanding business needs, assessing capabilities, and leveraging AI and automation for reliability and performance.
2. Design cloud and on-premise architectures integrating AI and SRE principles, ensuring scalability, resilience, and high availability.
3. Collaborate with development and operations teams to guide implementation, review designs, and promote best practices.
4. Implement AI-driven monitoring and analytics to identify anomalies, performance issues, and optimize systems proactively.
5. Establish incident response processes aligned with SRE practices, minimizing downtime and ensuring quick resolution.
6. Drive continuous improvement through metrics analysis, root cause analysis, and automation to enhance system resilience.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: £63,000 - £79,000, plus up to 15% bonus, competitive pension scheme, share plans, flexible benefits.
About You
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
* Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), monitoring tools, CI/CD, scripting, databases, and networking.
* Strong communication, risk management, and collaborative skills.
