We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Chorley for a full-time temporary contract starting October 20th and continuing until December 19th, 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and creative lessons that foster a love for music in all its forms. You will be joining a supportive department within a well-regarded school that values the arts as an integral part of the curriculum.
The ideal candidate will:
* Be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience teaching Music at secondary level.
* Have strong classroom management skills and a passion for music education.
* Be able to plan, deliver, and assess lessons that are both challenging and accessible.
* Encourage performance, creativity, and appreciation of diverse musical styles.
* Be committed to the progress and wellbeing of all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
