The Role
As a Supply Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our business has sufficient 'Available to Promise' (ATP) inventory to meet its sales objectives. You will manage inventory targets in conjunction with Demand Planning teams, ensuring an appropriate level of product supply and availability across the business. Your role will involve providing accurate and timely information to support effective capacity planning decisions for both factories and material suppliers.
Your Impact
* Execute the monthly buy accurately and timely, understanding the full sourcing cycle and creating buy proposals
* React to potential shortages or surpluses of product by managing or adjusting manufacturing output at factories or inventory levels at the DC
* Liaise with key partners within the business to make strategic decisions relating to current and future stock holding
* Manage o9 exceptions arising from daily forecast updates from Demand Planning
* Make adjustments to order dates based on analysis
* Action 'Pre-load' instructions from the global supply planning team
* Monitor and control life cycle management, including obsolete inventory reporting
* Produce monthly buy summaries for Executive S&OP meetings
* Actively contribute to weekly Supply Planning team meetings, raising and addressing issues as needed
* Foster strong cross-regional relationships with Supply Planners to establish a globally consistent supply planning strategy

We Would Love To Hear From People With
* Experience in a planning role
* Worked in a supply planning role in a medium to large business, preferably within the footwear or similar industry
* Familiarity with supply chain operations in a medium to large-scale business environment is advantageous
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel
