We're looking for Development Underwriters with expertise in Property and Casualty to drive growth and deliver results from our Maidstone office. About You
As our P&C Development Underwriter, you'll:
* Take ownership of major deals, using your expertise to win and retain strategic accounts that drive growth.
* Develop trusted partnerships with brokers, leveraging collaboration to unlock new opportunities and strengthen market presence.
* Represent the business confidently through face-to-face engagement, networking, and active participation in industry events.
* Support team development by guiding peers, reviewing referrals, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality service.
* Work closely with internal departments to streamline processes and deliver seamless, client-focused solutions.
* Act as a reliable point of contact for priority clients, anticipating needs and delivering tailored, responsive support.
Essential skills
* Proven expertise in underwriting complex Property and Casualty risks
* Track record of dealing with large and/or complex risks and cases
* Proven ability to manage broker relationships that fuel growth and long-term retention
Desirable Skills
* Responsible Artificial Intelligence usage
