We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic midwife to join the team as an Early Career Support Midwife to provide clinical support to newly qualified midwives transitioning from student to autonomous practitioner, offering structured support, mentorship (named preceptor/buddy), protected study days, and clinical guidance to build confidence and competence in antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care across integrated community and hospital setting.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience and be up to date and confident with all clinical skills.

* Will be responsible for the support and development of our newly qualified midwives, with a focus on clinical care provision.
* Will assist in the review the preceptorship package with the guidance of the retention support midwives to ensure the outcomes reflect the needs of the midwives, the wider MDT and the evolving service.
* To help in the induction process for staff when joining our organisation, including their training and education needs.
* To support the wider education team with the ongoing training and development of the workforce through facilitation of training days, including mandatory study days and local training delivery.
* To act as a resource of clinical expertise and support the professional development of midwives, maternity support workers, health care assistants and other members of the multi-disciplinary team as appropriate.
