The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate teacher who:
· Has experience working in mainstream or SEN primary settings
· Specialises in English, Literacy and Communication development
· Can deliver differentiated and engaging lessons tailored to a range of learning needs, including children with ASD, speech and language difficulties, and moderate to complex learning needs
· Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
· Has a strong commitment to inclusive education and raising pupil attainment
Key Responsibilities
· Plan and deliver creative, structured, and supportive lessons focused on developing core English and communication skills
· Adapt teaching methods to suit individual EHCPs and learning styles
· Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress
· Foster a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment
· Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals to support holistic development
The Ideal Candidate
· Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
· Has substantial primary teaching experience
· Demonstrates expertise or training in English, Literacy or Communication-focused interventions
· Experience working with children with SEN in a school setting is highly desirable
· Has excellent interpersonal skills and a nurturing approach
