Business Development Manager - Industrial Chemicals Territory: Dublin / Midlands / Galway / Northern Ireland Salary: €70,000 - €75,000 €10,000-€20,000 Bonus Car Healthcare Pension THE COMPANY: A long-established manufacturer within the industrial chemicals sector, supplying process and performance chemical solutions to major manufacturing facilities across Ireland. With over 50 years' experience and substantial investment in R&D, they support major blue-chip organisations across food & beverage, dairy, brewing & distilling, and pharmaceutical production. With continued growth in the Irish market, they are recruiting a Business Development Manager to strengthen their commercial team. THE ROLE: The successful candidate will manage and grow a portfolio of key manufacturing accounts while driving new business opportunities across the northern half of Ireland. You will work closely with senior stakeholders within production, operations, engineering and procurement functions to support chemical supply, performance improvement and site process requirements. This is a field-based role with strong technical support and full training provided. Key responsibilities include: Managing and developing key manufacturing accounts Identifying and securing new business opportunities Supporting site evaluations and solution proposals Working cross-functionally with technical and operations teams Managing commercial negotiations and account growth plans THE PERSON: We are seeking a commercially focused professional with experience selling into manufacturing or industrial environments. Ideal background includes: 3 years B2B field sales experience Experience selling chemicals, industrial consumables, process equipment or technical products into manufacturing Degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Engineering or similar advantageous but not essential Strong commercial acumen and ability to build long-term strategic relationships Self-driven, ambitious and comfortable working in a technical sales environment THE PACKAGE: Basic Salary: €65,000 - €75,000 Bonus: €10,000 - €20,000 Company Car Pension & Healthcare Laptop & Phone 21 Days Annual Leave LOCATION: Dublin, Galway, Midlands or Northern Ireland considered.
