The Ideal Person
* Qualified Accounting Technician (or equivalent) with at least three years of relevant post-qualification experience.
* Demonstrable experience with at least one ERP implementation.
* Excellent computer skills, including databases and spreadsheets.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple workloads.
Responsibilities
The accounting technician will be part of a small team assisting with the implementation of a new ERP system covering finance, expenses, procurement, payroll, and HR modules. Responsibilities include data cleansing, data migration, and ensuring a smooth transition.
* Assist with data cleansing of relevant data on current systems.
* Support data migration preparations across modules.
* Collaborate with business and system vendors for user acceptance testing, identifying and resolving issues.
* Assist with reconciliation activities between legacy and new ERP systems.
* Work with managers and vendors to redefine business processes for seamless integration.
* Help draft training materials tailored to system functionality and business processes.
* Prepare for system cutover and go-live activities.
* Provide post-go live support.
