What We Expect
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Lift Service Engineer to join our Midlands team based in Burton Upon Trent and surrounding areas. The role involves servicing and maintaining our clients' elevators across the region.
Responsibilities
* Servicing and maintaining customer lifts
* Repairing or replacing lift parts
* Responding to mechanical failures and breakdowns
* Carrying out safety checks and risk assessments
* Planning and managing workload around assigned jobs
* Maintaining van stock and ordering supplies through the supply chain
* Recommending parts and equipment that need to be quoted or ordered to keep the lifts compliant
* Out of hours work on a pro rata basis
Qualifications
* NVQ3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualifications
* Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Initiative and teamwork ability
* Positive attitude and receptive to change
* Organised
* Superior customer‑care skills
* Self‑assessment and ownership of personal development
* Adept at H&S regulations in the workplace
