As an FX e-Trading Platform Technologist in the Global FX eTrading team, you will design and build critical components that support our global macro FX business. You will work within a diverse team of developers and partner closely with traders to deliver highly available, scalable, and low-latency systems. You will be responsible for the end-to-end success of these systems, from design and development to deployment and optimization. Your work will directly impact our ability to handle high volumes of real-time data and maintain peak performance.

Job Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain electronic trading components
* Apply low-level programming techniques to optimize trading software for speed and efficiency
* Support the operate team as a second line resource
* Tune systems for high availability, scalability, and minimal latency

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* Advanced professional experience with Java
* Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system design
* Proficiency in Linux/Unix and networking topologies (TCP and UDP)
* Experience with low latency middleware (e.g., Informatica ultra messaging)
* Ability to work collaboratively in a global team
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or equivalent experience
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Capable of working independently and as part of a team
* Quick learner with the ability to apply new skills effectively
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* FX or relevant markets experience
* Scripting skills, especially Python
* Experience with performance-sensitive code optimization
* Familiarity with real-time data processingKnowledge of threading and concurrency
