Paramount Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a country pub in the Bristol area, who are seeking a Head Chef. Well known for a warm hospitality setting, our client has a strong reputation for delivering high quality, comforting pub classics, with strong partnerships with locally sourced suppliers.
As the Head Chef, you will be the heart and soul of kitchen operation, with the creative freedom over both the specials menu but also full menu development. We are looking for a passionate and reliable sole chef to take full ownership of the kitchen, whilst maintaining a strong reputation as a local favourite. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented sous chef who is looking at taking their next opportunity, with the ability to progress their career.
Head Chef responsibilities to include;
6. Prepping and cooking high quality meals for lunch and dinner service.
7. Designing seasonal specials and updating the main menu in collaboration with management.
8. Managing stock control, ordering and minimising waste.
9. Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, food safety and EHO compliance.
10. Working closely with local butchers, grocers and suppliers to source the best regional ingredients.
